This is actually a similar shot than the one I have posted about yesterday. I had to walk along the shore to take photos of a friend who was surfing… those rocks were very sharp and walking on them was not easy… so in fact, yes, it is a similar shot from the Oyster shot in many different ways!

At the bottom of that ruined Pier there are thousands of oysters, huge ones… they are so many and so close together that it is actualyl quite difficult to walk on there! but I had to because I really wanted to be in the middle of those oyster to get a shot of a “sea of oyster”. Not for that shot really as this is quite a close up shot… but for other ones.. which I didn’t like as much as this one really
So maybe I didn’t need to walk all the way in the middle of that field of very sharp and cutting oyster, risking to fall and hurt myself (ok maybe it wasn’t that dangerous after all!)… but hey… this is a close up shot taken in the middle of them! all around me, this shot was all I could see!!

I was lucky enough to have to go to San Diego twice that year for work. This photo was actually taken as I was leaving San Diego for London. There was a sea of cloud coming to the town and this shot is where the invasion started!

Hornby Island is a small Island off Vancouver Island which is itslef off Vancouver… You are following me?
This Island is some kind of Hippy Island where everyone is nice and happy! This is where you arrive with the ferry which takes less than 5 minutes to cross over the river/sea. There are the reamins of an old pier which has long disapeared!

To follow up on yesterday’s photo, this was the sunset I could see from the Ferry to Vancouver Island. The color were amazing and I used a rather fast shutter speed to make those colors even more dramatic…

Still on that train to Whistler… the scenary was beautiful, especialyl the river which was running parallel to the train. Everything about it was great, the movements, the energy and the color of it!
Blending the sky January 24, 2009

On my way to the Whistler mountain I took a train, and I took several shot hanging my head outside
what I liked about that shot was how the sky and the top of the train seemed to be blending in one another… yes, the focus is only done on that rivet/screw on the right part of the screen… this is what also helps the blending to work so well!

I was in the Massif Central in France to see some friends who are renovating a very old farm, on my way there I noticed that house at the bottom of a small hill as I was driving, it was just next to where the road was making a turn. It was a very cold day and someone must have lighted a fire… it was amazing how much soke was coming out of the cheminey and onto the road!

Barnes is a small village just south west London. It is my favorite place in London in fact! They have some kind of bird center there. As I was visiting it with some friends who came to visit me from France, it was a sunny day full of life (birds that mean). I especially liked that bird with this brigth blue beak!
