That summer, next to the london town hall they had install some street art… some kind of telescope supposingly pointing towards the earth and New York… at the other end, New York, there was also a similar telescope where public would queue to watched through it… to see what? to see the people in the other side! London watching New York and vice versa… it was actually quite well done! and you could see a perfect image of the people on the other side… live… there was a clipboard on each side where people could write a few messages… great idea!

Still on the London South Bank, I wasn’t sure if this was a work of art of just a practical joke while part of the pavement was flooded… anyway, it made me laugth.. amazing the number of people who did not notice any of this!

People around must have been wondering why I was taking pictures of those rocks for so long… I had to take many shots and wait for those skaters to do tricks in the background to finally get the effect I wanted… a blurry, almost not really visible, skater in the background while having those tiny/medium sized rocks in the foreground…

I love photo shoot in the street of London and especially in the south Bank… there is an area for skatters and bikes… there were a lot of kids (and more grown ups) doing tricks that day… I just walked through them and was taking some shots.. one of the kids kindly offered to wait and told me I could shoot away safely as everyone would be able to avoid… colliding with me… great 
Still… I had something else in mind.. as I was shooting those grafittis, I really wanted to either have a biker or a skater in the picture… but I didn’t want to see his/her face… then came that moment… just what I was looking for! 
)
Well… maybe I would have liked that biker to be a bit more suttle on the photo… maybe another time, I’ll take antoher shot where you can only sees part of the front wheel…

As I was walking by night in the streets of Paris in search of a restaurant, I took a lot of black and white photos… when I came accross that shop I was still in a blakc and white “mode”… it was so colorful that it really contrasted with what I shot that night. It was almost creepy that front window… maybe because of the clown behind… anyway.. I decided to shot it in color to give it its full glory and also because as I said it was contrasting to much with what I shot that night….

i have already blogged twice about photos of that monument. Hwever, it is one of the most intriguing monument in Paris and I think it deserves a 3rd and last blog entry!
With this one I played with the corridor leading to the building which is very reflective, I didn’t want to create a perfect split reflection and instead chose to playing with the reflection angle and only use a third of the photo for it.

I like this photo because it is almost black and white appart from the french flag and a bit of blue sky and also because od all the symbols it has about France. The French flag, one of the most important person in French history, le General De Gaule and a very important monument behind (Les Thuileries?).

The light was amazing that day, it had rained in the morning and the sun was just coming out as the evening started. I especially liked the light against that corner house as if there was an artificial spot light in front of it!

Lisbon has amazing mosaic everywhere! It is like being back hundred years in time. I especially liked the colors and the fact they were so shiny as if someone was polishing the streets at night!
