As the day went by many people went through this pier to have a go at water skyiing. I liked the way the sun was lighting it at the end of the day

After gone snorkelling with my under water camera I saw that bird waiting on this rock, I kept getting closer and closer and this is the last photo I took before it flew off…

On my last night on that beautiful Island I decided to use my tripod to take a few photos, it was almost dark when this one was taken and I had to struggle keeping a small dog called mee foon eating my toes!!

This photos was taken from the balcony of where I was staying. There are a lot of people fishing in the evening. I liked the composition of the 2 boats and the fisherman at that moment and the reflection of the sun which gives a sparkling effect to the whole photo…

As I was driving around the island I stopped the car to take this photo, not too sure where I was, I think it was on the south east of the island… I think the different rocks give some sense of depth and dynamism to the photo.

This photos really works better in full screen… the little dots of the grass contrast well with the mountain which is out of focus in the background

As I was enjoying walking in Grand Baie and taking photos of the different shops on the street I noticed the reflection of the “lagoon” on this take away van… I just loved the idea of taking this away… that picture of the perfect lagoon… yeah… I am probably seeing too much into this… but that reflection was right were the food to sale was on display…
Anyway, I had to wait a fair bit because there was always some customers paying for some food… in fact you can jsut about see the reflection of a girl on that photo who was buying some … how do you say again? pourie?

Grand Baie is located at the north of the Island and is for me one of the most beautiful place I visited on the island… the water is so transparent and turquoise it looks right out of a post card
