Vezelay is probably the place in France I found the most beautiful! I especially liked that outdoor exhibition which was taking place that day in the park next to the cathedral… it was making for a more interesting walk around!

I visited a cave near Shannon that day and I kept being left behind the group of tourist as I was taking so many photos… I remember always running behind them thinking I better not get lost! at some point they decided to switch off all the lights for a few seconds so everyone could feel what real darkness was like (ever tried using shutters?!)… it was quite impressive though as it was quite deep under ground and you could hear drops of water in all kind of direction… I was quite glad I just caught up with the group before they switched off the lights!

As I visited Kew Garden I left through their park and stopped near a pond/lake where people where feeding ducks and swine. That little squirrel really wanted some food and was being very brave… even if he kept being chased away by the ducks! he eventually managed to get some bread

Everytime I fly back to London during a sunny and clear day I am always amazed how close you get to fly over the center of London! this photo was actually taken with my first digital camera… a compact C50 Olympus camera with a very small zoom. Although I flew over london many times since that day, I never got quite the same quality of photos and never flew as low as that day… even if I have now a better camera with a much better zoom!

This was taken into what some people thought was a “lost jungle”, this is a place where a huge cave collapsed some years ago and the vegetation and animals found there cannot be found anywhere else on the island.
Shame I couldn’t find any Dinosaurs!

This is the second shot of a series of 2. It was taken inside a cave where the sea was submerging most of it at certain times… obviously, I was early

In the same zoo I took the previous photo there were a lot of wild Monkeys. They were actually free to get out of the Zoo if they wanted to. But the daily Banana call ensured they stayed around each day!
A sudden and huge rain storm lsted about 15 minutes while I was there.. this Monkey seemed to be in charge as there were many other little ones next to him/her. I just liked to take this shot from an angle and the back… it felt more “intimate” than the other ones I have facing him/her directly.

This shot was taken at one (the only one?) Barbados zoo. It was surrounded with giant turtles and trying to hide from the crowd…

Barbados has some amazing sunset, Although I like some cloud free sunset from time to time, I prefer when there are a few clouds as it make it more interesting!
