I really enjoyed those old roof and found that part very interesting… a very nice contrast between an old and new roof, separated by a gutter which colors blend perfectly between the 2…

This old window was an ideal frame for that picture… It is off centered in purpose and I had to balance the exposure right between getting well defined clouds and not make the lake too dark so you don’t see the ripples…

That old castle of Chillon had amazing roofs, they looked very old and I wonder if they were the originals in some parts… anyway, that one was quite interesting with all the stuff growing on it

This photo was taken at the entrance of the Chillon Castle, on the Lac Leman. I had to wait for an annoying child/teenager girl to get out of that pier to take that photo! it was taken at the end of the tour of the castle and already that girl kept staying behind her parents (who kept screaming at her to … move!) and she had made an habit to stay in places where people were likely to take photos… I guess she wanted to be famous
The sky was very stormy, and as I waited to take my shot a bird then came at the end of the pier to thank me for my patience

I always like to play with lines in my photos… that dark mountain/forest divides the photos in 2 parts and actually follows the line of the glacier. It is almost a black and white photos with a bit of blue in the sky…

This is a view of the Mont Blanc, late in the afternoon, almost evening.. there had been a storm that day and the sun was trying to show its face… I almost did not look at the mountain that day as it was raining all the time and couldn’t see a thing… but then I saw that, ran to pick up the camera and take a few shots!

There are a lot of wild dogs in India. This one was a mother and was watching its 2 little dogs playing further along the beach. I just liked how “cricked” that dog was… almost like a caricature!
