Visiting the museum of the imperatrice Sissi was very interesting… and made you realise how rich those monarchs are/were. I especially liked that room with those old cups.

As the sunset happened the light was so intense and the contrast with the sky and trees very interesting. I liked how dark those trees appeared to be against the bright walls of the building behind.

Note: This was originally posted on the 20th of December… somehow I forgot to post a news on that day!
This was in the entrance of the Sissi museum… a magnificient building inside and outside! the color where already quite blend so I felt a black and white picture would do it more justice. For some reasons this photos almost reminds me of a skull… dunno why!

The main Christmas Market is located in front of a beautiful church/building, where they have 24 windows hidden with a blue curtain and a number for each day of December… I wonder if they had chocolate behind those curtains as they open a curtain each day 
That night was cold, oh so very cold!!! and the sky was incredibily dark/bright blue… that photo actually shows exactly how it looked!

The xmas decoration in Vienna are not short of amazing! in the main christmas market all the trees have lighted decoration… these ones caught my attention the most… I LOVE the contrast between the black and the red colors (ok… easy pun!

This photo was taken in one of the numerous Christmas Market in Vienna, there are dozen of those shops selling xmas ball decoration. It is apparently a custom in Austria to look for a special xmas ball for someon in your familly.

Yes, there were a lot of interesting sight and lights in Vienna
As I was waiting on a bench covered with every bit of clothing I had to fight the cold, I was looking at that street light in front of me… I wanted to take a photo of it… but I was so cold that it took me a long time to remove my gloves and decide to take this shot

I especially like the fact only a few part of that building was lighted up. It was the inside of a vast courtyard and it felt ancient and magical… this is what I tried to capture with this black and white shot

One of the advantage of taking a very early flight is that when you land you can sometimes see some beautiful sky! This one looked it was out of a painting!
