There are a lot of wild dogs in India. This one was a mother and was watching its 2 little dogs playing further along the beach. I just liked how “cricked” that dog was… almost like a caricature!

On an afternoon in the Weirdest place in South East England it was all gloom and doom… the perfect weather to capture the atmosphere of this strange place! Those 2 boats looked like they had not been used in quite some time! I liked the contrast the grey sky was making that afternoon with all the dots made by the beach pebbles. I played with the composition in this photo with the different boats in the depth of field… there are actually 3 boats.

Not sure what those were but only that it was a really hot day and I took far too long to take a few shots on that beach and almost got sunburnt!

This was taken from the beach on the south east coast of Mauritius. The tide was low and a storm was coming… I was on my way back to where I was staying as the rain started to be quite heavy when I saw that boat… I ran back to get my camera, and ran back to this boat under the heavy rain… while everyone else was running in the opposite direction wondering what the hell I was doing!!! I only had the time to take a few shots as my camera was starting to get very wet!

This is my favorite spot in Riverre Noire. This is where the river meets the sea. I can’t remember the name of that mountain behind though!

This lady walked past me as I was taking photos of the sea, she was holding her “sarong” in one hand and a fishrod and a handbag in the other. Not sure she was going to catch anything so close to the shore but I liked her posture!

This is the last photo of Mauritius I will be posting for a while. This was taken on the same island (presquil) I took the last few photos. The colors were just amazing and although it look stormy there was no rain and the sun was very strong!

This photos was taken from the balcony of where I was staying. There are a lot of people fishing in the evening. I liked the composition of the 2 boats and the fisherman at that moment and the reflection of the sun which gives a sparkling effect to the whole photo…

I like playing with different depth of focus in my photos and it took me quite a long time to get that one right… I had to shoot very low on the beach and could not see what I was taking… after taking a few test shots to get my settings right I ended up taking about 30 photos starting near my feet and moving the camera towards the sea… all I wanted was to only focus where that little brown “ball” was located…
