November 2008, Kerala, India
While on holiday in India I was eating on the top of a clif when I noticed some birds of prey flying around… I took several shot of that one and got a lucky shot… one with a crow flying right in front of me… it looks as if the bird of prey is after that black bird!

July 2005, Kara, Turkey
I was staying in a very quiet and remote house, in the middle of a ghost town called Kara. That property had dozens of wild cats roaming around. Lucky for me, I like cats :)

Well… this isn’t my hand.. otherwise how would I have taken that photo!? ;)
It was a turtle watching trip and the “guide” was in the water with bait, he was having fun throwing it next to tourist so the turtle was going right in their face :)
It was actually my second trip and I new what he was doing, first attracting the turtles next to the boat and then directing them to the tourists, so I jumped in straigth away… I wanted a shot with no tourists!

November 2008, Bangalore, India
On top of Nady Hills near Bangalore I was waiting for my friend to get the tickets to get in the restricted area. I noticed those puppy dogs playing… there were about 5 of them. A monkey was around as well, but this was the best shot!

December 2007, Barbados
Late in the day while walking on the beach I found that small Crab while I was on my way to a famous surfing spot on the east coast of the island. I almost walk on it!!

June 2008, Mysore, India
I have already published a photo of one of the small monkey I saw while at that “cow temple”, however, there is something about this photo which I believe is more special even if at first it may not have the same “cute appeal”.
First, the texture of the monley fur contrasts with the texture of the background.
Then, and more importantly, it is the way this female monkey was attending to her baby. You could almost see feeling of love of some kind… and you can see that in that photo in her eyes and smile.

September 20008, London, UK
Let me introduce you to my cat. On a late summer day I noticed my cat on a roof top. I happened to have my camera out while in the garden (to take a photo I will show you tomorrow) and snapped a couple of photos while he was yawning. It almost looks like he is shouting! :)

London, UK, June 2008
As I stopped to listen a street performer I had time to look around… and I saw some interesting things. One of which was this weird looking metallic cylinder which seemed to be drifting away with this bird on top of it. As if this was a birds raft :)

France, December 2005
This cat was sitting on top of a couch looking at the food we were eating at the dining table during the entire evening… I think he was hungry :)

Barbados, December 2007
While in Barbados I met a couple at a beach bar one evening and we got alone very well. They have been going to Barbados for december for something like 20 years! so they know the place very well and they told me about a very very old giant cave that collapsed probably hundred years ago and now there are some vegetation and wild life living there which you cannot find anywhere else on the island. That cave is also not very well advertised and difficult to find… in fact… although the island is fairly small, EVERYTHING is hard to find! road signs are very sparse :)
So one day they took me there and it was fantastic… one thing I have noticed is that there were loads of those small worms (not sure the name of them). Most of them curled up like this.
This photo caught my eyes because I loved the difference in texture you can see.

Barbados, December 2007
I went to their Zoo and I can only say one thing, I recommend it! they have a lot of wild life animals (10000 turtles roaming around) and also a few crocodiles. You can get very close to them as well! this one seems to want to “pose” for the photo, so I had to take a shot :)

Barbados, December 2007
While looking for turtle the guide was throwing food in the water which attracted 1000s of fishes. I was amazed how long the guide could hold his breath… I love snorkeling but cannot hold my breath for too long… one thing I like to do though is to dive as deep as I can among fishes. Well, that guide took that idea to a completely different level! :)
In fact… if you look carefully on that photo you will see the guide. There was some kind of wreck at the bottom at about 10 meters, he went down with some bread and wrapped his leg around a rusty pipe… all the fishes were on him in a few seconds! excellent! :)
