December 2007 – Barbados
This was taken into what some people thought was a “lost jungle”, this is a place where a huge cave collapsed some years ago and the vegetation and animals found there cannot be found anywhere else on the island.
Shame I couldn’t find any Dinosaurs! ;)

December 2007 – Barbados
This is the second shot of a series of 2. It was taken inside a cave where the sea was submerging most of it at certain times… obviously, I was early :)

December 2007 – Barbados
In the same zoo I took the previous photo there were a lot of wild Monkeys. They were actually free to get out of the Zoo if they wanted to. But the daily Banana call ensured they stayed around each day!
A sudden and huge rain storm lsted about 15 minutes while I was there.. this Monkey seemed to be in charge as there were many other little ones next to him/her. I just liked to take this shot from an angle and the back… it felt more “intimate” than the other ones I have facing him/her directly.

December 2007 – Barbados
This shot was taken at one (the only one?) Barbados zoo. It was surrounded with giant turtles and trying to hide from the crowd…

Barbados has some amazing sunset, Although I like some cloud free sunset from time to time, I prefer when there are a few clouds as it make it more interesting!

December 2007 – Barbados
This is the last photos of Barbados I will be blogging on that site. So less finish with little fish! I like this photo because I believe it convey quite well the fact the fishes where circling around… and as I like to play with different depth of field those fishes helped in that way!

This is the same palm tree which appeared in the previous post, but this time, in focus. Those sunsets were amazing… but again, I guess all sunset by the sea are amazging :)

December 2007 – Barbados
Every evening there were a lot of ships going at sea… probably to enjoy the sunsets or sail to other islands!
That boat caught my attention, it wasn’t one of those massive cruisers but looked like an old boat. In front of the house there was a tall palm tree… that’s it shadows which gives those fuzzy lines in the foreground

December 2007 – Barbados
Just outside the place I was staying there was a small cove/beach. On that evening a huge storm shaked the island… this photo capture the moment when a sunny day is about to turn into a stormy evening!

December 2007 – Barbados
At the end of the stroll I was taking on this beach there was this man fishing… he was throwing some kind of dead fish in the sea as a bait and then throwing the net attached to a cord… after a few seconds he was draging back the net to the beach… full of fishes! :o)

December 2007 – Barbados
You can see on this photo the bigger picture of the shot I blogged about yesterday. I really liked those calm puddle of water and the contrast with the waves coming in and breaking its surface. It was a warm evening and the sun was going down.

December 2007 – Barbados
Second photos in the series. There was a small reef on the beach and as the tide was going out the waves kepts breaking on it and some water was left flowing down as if there were lot of mini waterfalls. Yes…. it kept me fascinated for quite a few minutes :)
